Dr. Muhammed Al-Nuaimi, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Al-Nuaimi was born and raised in Edmonton where he earned both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Sciences degrees from the University of Alberta. Upon graduating, he provided services in Edmonton before moving to Leduc. 

Dr. Al-Nuaimi prides himself on making all his patients feel comfortable while in his dental chair. He is proud to provide modern dental care in a homelike environment. He loves people and welcomes the opportunity to have small children to older adults in his practice. Dr. Al-Nuaimi continues to stay up to date on the latest trends in dentistry by completing over the required continuing education requirements, in an effort to provide Leduc with the most comfortable dental practice and techniques possible. 

Dr. Al-Nuaimi is an active member of the Alberta Dental Association and College, the Canadian Dental Association and the Student Competition for Advancing Dental Research and its Application. 

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Al-Nuaimi uses his knowledge to help with training dentists less fortunate. As well as enjoys hunting, hiking, biking, playing video games and traveling with his wife and son.


Dr. Brenda Pham, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Pham was born and raised in Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Sciences degrees. She has provided dental services in Edmonton, St. Albert and now Leduc!

She enjoys working in all aspects of general dentistry and expanding her scope of practice with continuing education courses. She strives to make patients feel welcomed and comfortable in the dental chair. She is an active participant in the community. In the past, she has volunteered providing dental care for the inner city population, led fundraising efforts for international dental missions to underserved communities, and participated on one herself to Peru.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking on trails with her two dogs, travelling, photography and cooking new recipes.

She is a member of good standing with the Alberta Dental Association and College and the Canadian Dental Association. 


Dr. Cari Shin, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Shin earned her Bachelor of Biological Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Alberta. She was an active participant of SHINE Dentistry and Kindness in Action during dental school, volunteering to provide dental care for those in need.

Dr. Shin enjoys many areas of dentistry and aims to expand her dental knowledge and stay current through continuing education courses. She believes in the importance of patient education in promoting good oral health and strives to provide excellent dental care to every patient. 

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shin enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking and skiing in the mountains. She has always had an interest in music as well and plays the violin in her spare time.


Maja , RDA

Patient Care Coordinator

After growing up in the Pigeon Lake area, I moved too Edmonton to pursue my Dental Assisting diploma at NAIT in 2016. I also earned my limited scaling module as well as my orthodontics module. I am a member of the College of Alberta Dental Assistants. I joined TruSmiles in September 2018 where I make sure all patients feel welcomed. Outside of work I love to go hiking, traveling, and spending time with my pets and family.


Harley , RDH

Clinical Hygienist

I was born and raised in Alberta, and moved to Leduc County in 2018. I hold a Bachelor of Science with Dental Hygiene specialty, and have won awards, including the ADA’s Gold Medal, CRDHA Gold Scholarship, and the Charls Els Prize. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care for my patients and welcome nervous and anxious patients. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, board games, hiking, and sewing.


Calea RDA

Dental Assistant

I was born in Vancouver but raised in Leduc. I attended NAIT for my diploma in Dental Assisting Technology, as well as the scaling and orthodontic modules. I am a current member of the College of Alberta Dental Assistants and joined TruSmiles after graduating in August 2021 where I love to help all the patients in my local community. 

In my free time I like to spend time with friends and family, try new restaurants, hang out with my dog, and travel to new places.
